The Opportunity
Work directly alongside our CCO, Emmy-nominated editor Chad Tingle, learning professional post-production workflows while contributing to real projects for Miami nonprofits and social enterprises. This isn't a "fetch coffee" internship — you'll edit real content, see your work published, and build a portfolio of mission-driven storytelling you can be proud of.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form social content — Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn clips, and YouTube Shorts optimized for each platform
- Create Magic Clips — 30–60 second testimonial and soundbite clips extracted from longer documentary and podcast content
- Support podcast post-production — assist with editing episodes for shows like RAD Solutions Lab and Rise & Shine
- Organize and manage media assets — maintain footage libraries, file naming conventions, and project organization
- Collaborate with the production team — participate in creative reviews, incorporate feedback, and help meet client delivery timelines
- Learn color grading and audio mixing fundamentals — progress from basic edits to polished, broadcast-quality deliverables
What You'll Learn
- Professional editing workflows in Adobe Premiere Pro from an Emmy-nominated editor
- Nonprofit storytelling techniques — how visual content drives fundraising, engagement, and awareness
- Platform optimization — export specs, aspect ratios, captioning, and distribution best practices for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Production pipeline management — from raw footage intake through final delivery
- Content atomization strategy — how one shoot becomes 10–15 pieces of content across multiple channels
